medicinal marijuana1On June 19, 2013 the Government of Canada passed into legislation the Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (the MMPR) and in so doing legalized the right of a "licensed producer" to "possess, produce, sell, provide, ship, deliver, transport and destroy marihuana" and to "sell, provide, ship, deliver, transport and destroy cannabis, other than marihuana" (section 12(1)(a) and (c)).
